Demon Dweller– this evil twin of Green Man’s seasonal Imperial Stout was cast into oak barrels and buried deep in the cellar in 2014. Don’t be afraid of the dark… or maybe you should be!

See Green Man’s brewery expansion from the sky

You already know that Green Man is expanding. Last fall, we started on the construction of a new three-story building that will include packaging, a retail shop and a rooftop beer garden with views of the mountains.

Green Man also recently purchased an adjacent building that will be dedicated to souring and barrel-aging beers. Green Man is located on Buxton Avenue in the heart of Asheville’s “beer slope” which is home to several other local craft brewers.

What does all this look like? From the street, you’ll see a lot of construction vehicles and orange cones. But this aerial view will help you put it all in perspective. This video was shot and edited by Aaron R. Morell of Grae Skye Studio(www.graeskyestudio.com) in Waynesville about a week ago. Those in search of a scrumdidilyumptious St. Patrick’s Day party need look no further than Green Man, which will host a fantastical event featuring costumed characters, two special bottled beer releases, tours of the brewery’s new $4 million expansion project and more on March 17.

St. Patrick’s Day has always been a special day at Green Man. This year, the brewery will punch your golden ticket to a Willy Wonka-themed party.

Green Man plans to release two special beers at the event. The first is Snozzberry, its popular Lambic-style wheat beer with a fruity aroma and complex flavor. It’s a sour beer you won’t want to miss. The second is Green Man and the Chocolate Factory, a beer made in collaboration with Green Man’s next-door neighbor on Buxton Avenue, the French Broad Chocolate Factory.
